Fossil Fun: Campers will explore the world of paleontology as they dig for fossils, go on a dinosaur hunt, and create their own unique creature. Through many hands-on activities, campers will have a “roaring” good time.
Plentiful Plants: Campers will “grow” their knowledge of botany as they learn about jungles and rainforests and the plants and trees that grow there. Activities will include eating a whole plant, weaving with sticks, and enjoying our own great outdoors.
Amazing Animals: Enjoy a week of zoology as we take a closer look at the animal kingdom. Campers will learn to identify the different animal kingdoms and enjoy animal theme arts and crafts. A special guest will visit to bring our attention to the wildlife around us.
Vehicle Variety: Race into the week as we learn about the transportation system. Campers will enjoy special vehicle races including a balloon rocket race. Planes, trains, automobiles, and boats will be the focus of this week.
“Eye” Spy: Kindergarten campers will enjoy a week of activities learning about the 5 senses. Elementary campers will use their 5 senses to observe, deduce, analyze, and process clues to solve a mystery.
Make It and Take It: Campers will be given a variety of materials to use to express their creativity. Weekly activities will include painting, drawing, sculpture, and repurposing recyclables.
Games Galore: Campers will play hard and go for the GOLD with some fun competition. We will be learning new games and playing old favorites.
